Specialized tape for film mounting, also used in lithography for positioning, sealing, for protecting films and photosensitive plates from exposure.

The tesa® 4156 PV1 tape is a specialized “lithographic” tape developed for the purpose of protecting films and negatives. The tape is available in “litho-red” (color 57).

The tesa® 4156 PV1 tape is characterized by its resistance to light and aging, and it can be easily removed without separating or tearing. In addition, it does not leave adhesive residue after removal.
tesa® 4156 PV1 tape is easy to apply, as it adheres flat when applied and is not prone to curling at the edges.
tesa® 4156 PV1 tape guarantees precise surface protection and perfectly even edges.
tesa® 4156 PV1 tape is clearly visible to the human eye, even beyond the assembly table. Therefore, parts that have already been secured are visible to the naked eye, making it possible to apply the tape precisely.
Thanks to its unique properties, tesa® 4156 PV1 tape is also suitable for splicing film.
