With the increasing speed of NEV delivery globally, the needs of fire protection solution becomes very demanding in the market.
Mica, as one of high temperature resistance materials for fire protection, is widely used in EV battery applications, e.g. battery module busbar protection, battery lid protection, cell to cell mounting, etc.
For those required Mica mounting application, double sided tapes are needed for lamination. However, Mica is not very friendly to tapes due to its rough surface and brittle material characteristics.
tesa® 58332, tesa ® 58334 and tesa ® 58335 are designed for Mica mounting due to their outstanding wet out performance immediately on Mica.
