tesa® 64044 PV4

Carton sealing tape for cartons with very heavy or hazardous goods

tesa® 64044 PV 4 is based on a very strong PP-backing with a special high tack water based acrylic adhesive mass. The very high tack of the adhesive secures a good sealing immediately after applying it. Even heavy boxes or boxes with multiflute cardboard with high flap tension can be closed safely.
As the product is chlorine free and based on derivatives of mineral oil only, the disposal by heat treatment is environmental friendly.
The process of cardboard waster recycling will be not disrupted by tesa® 64044 PV 4 as confirmed by leading recycling companies and paper mills.

Application Fields

tesa® 64044 PV 4 is designed to close very heavy cartons or boxes with hazardous content. The tensile strength and elongation characteristics of the strong backing make the product resistant to high shock impacts.

On request tesa® 64044 is also available as PV 5 product version with an especially easy but noisy unwinding. The PV 5 product version is printable. tesa® 64044 PV4 can be used for the closure of the bottom and top flaps of the packaging for dangerous risk group I. Drop test according ADR/RID, IATA and IMDG-Code.
