tesa® 54889 is a steam-resistant foil masking tape developed for demanding masking applications during steam or water-based paint curing. It combines a durable polyester backing with a special silicone adhesive, ensuring secure adhesion and clean removal on a variety of surfaces including EPDM, aluminum, and painted components.

Thanks to its high-temperature resistance up to 180 °C and resistance to chemicals and moisture, tesa® 54889 delivers performance where standard tapes fail.
