tesa® ACXplus 77611 – Advanced LSE Bonding with Low-Temperature Performance
tesa® ACXplus 77611 is a 1.1 mm double-sided acrylic foam tape designed for high-performance bonding on low surface energy (LSE) substrates. Its unique double-layer structure features an LSE adhesive on the covered side, providing excellent initial adhesion to various OEM clear coats. This tape achieves near-ultimate bonding strength immediately after application, even at temperatures as low as 5°C. The viscoelastic acrylic foam core of tesa® ACXplus 77611 absorbs and dissipates dynamic and static loads, compensating for different thermal expansions of bonded parts. This makes it particularly suitable for mounting primer-treated attachment parts, including ribbed surfaces, to challenging clear coats.
