Double-sided acrylic foam tape with a thickness of 1.2 mm, for the installation of external automotive parts.

Product description:

tesa® ACXplus 77112 is a double-sided acrylic foam tape for attaching exterior components.

The excellent resistance to a wide range of temperatures is due to the combination of a pure acrylic core and an adhesive compound with increased viscosity. This ensures reliable attachment of parts throughout the life of the vehicle.

The unique nature of the product, allows it to absorb and dissipate stresses on the bonding line and adapts to the materials being bonded.
Also available in 0.8mm and 1.5mm formats.

Features:

  • Excellent shear resistance at elevated temperatures

  • Exceptional performance with high initial adhesion on MSE substrates

  • High resistance to moisture, fuel vapor and UV penetration

  • Viscoelastic acrylic foam core compensates for varying degrees of thermal elongation of bonded components

  • Closed acrylic cells guarantee a reliable seal, preventing water penetratio
