Mini Cross-Wound Spools by EKO-TECH – Compact Format, Big Opportunities

At EKO-TECH Sp. z o.o. Sp. k., we’re continuously developing new solutions that simplify our customers’ daily operations. One of our latest innovations is the Mini Cross-Wound Spool – a product format designed for maximum practicality, stability, and compatibility.

Traditionally, cross-wound spools require large 152 mm diameter cores and core widths of 180 mm or more. While these industrial reels are suitable for high-volume automated processes, they demand specialized equipment, guiding systems, and large-scale tape consumption—not always ideal for every customer. That’s why we’ve redefined the standard.

The EKO-TECH Mini-Spool:

  • Built on a 76 mm (3″) inner core – a market standard.

  • Fixed core width of 50 mm – ideal for narrow formats.

  • Offers stable cross-winding of both single- and double-sided tapes in small widths with high meterage.

  • Does not require special rewinding or guiding systems – behaves almost like a classic discus reel but with far greater tape length per spool.

With this innovation, you get the best of both worlds: the capacity of industrial spools and the ease of standard reels. You no longer need to compromise between reel size, rewinder setup, or tape stability. EKO-TECH Mini-Spools are compact, robust, and tailored for your production efficiency.
