MonoPan® – Exceptional Chemical Resistance

MonoPan® panels are engineered with materials that provide outstanding chemical resistance, making them suitable for demanding environments and diverse applications. The combination of polypropylene and glass ensures durability and reliability even in chemically challenging conditions.

High Resistance

MonoPan® demonstrates high resistance to a wide range of substances, including:

  • Alcohols: Resistant to ethyl alcohol and methanol, ensuring compatibility in industrial and medical applications.

  • Aqueous Solutions: Resistant to ammonia and lyes, suitable for cleaning and processing environments.

  • Common Fuels: Resistant to diesel and fuel oils, making it ideal for automotive and transport industries.

  • Detergents: Reliable in environments requiring frequent cleaning and sanitation.

Conditional Resistance

MonoPan® panels maintain performance under specific conditions when exposed to:

  • Petroleum Products: Limited resistance to petrol and benzene.

  • Acids and Alkalis: Works with diluted sulfuric acid (up to 45%) and hydrochloric acid (up to 35%); however, exposure to concentrated acids should be minimized.

Not Recommended for Highly Hazardous Chemicals

MonoPan® is not suitable for applications involving highly corrosive substances such as:

  • Concentrated nitrides and perchloroethylene.

  • Hot sulfuric acid or sulfuric acid gas.

  • Toluene, xylene, and other aggressive hydrocarbons.

Optimized for Diverse Applications

The chemical resistance of MonoPan® makes it an excellent choice for various industries, including:

  • Automotive: Handles exposure to fuels and lubricants.

  • Construction: Ideal for environments requiring durability against cleaners and solvents.

  • Industrial Processing: Performs in facilities with chemical exposure risks.

Usage and Verification

While MonoPan® offers exceptional chemical resistance, it is essential to verify compatibility for specific applications. Environmental conditions, concentration levels, and exposure durations can influence performance.
