Wear protective gloves as recommended by the cleaner’s material safety sheet.

Use clean, fragrance-free, plasticizer-free cloths.

Choose appropriate cleaning agents like 3M™ VHB Surface Preparation Cleaner. Avoid greasy household cleaners.

Repeat cleaning until the surface is grease-free. Switch cloths as needed.

For glass surfaces, use 3M™ Silane Glass Treatment per its instructions.

Apply the tape tightly without overstretching.

Avoid air bubbles during placement.

Never use the touched starting end of the tape—cut it off.

Press down immediately with approx. 20 N/cm² pressure.

Cut vertically through both tapes.

Use a 50°/40° angle (not 45°/45°) for a strong seal.

Trim any excess tape and reapply uniform pressure across the bonded surface.

Carefully remove the liner in one piece (especially for transparent tapes).

Avoid touching the exposed adhesive.

Quickly apply the mating part to prevent contamination of the adhesive.

Apply approx. 20 N/cm² pressure again on the assembled parts.

Once bonded, the tape cannot be repositioned due to strong adhesion.

Final strength is achieved after 72 hours at 20°C, or after 1 hour at 65°C with heat acceleration​
