Adhesive Tape Families for Lamination

Tissue tapes – stable bonding with easy handling

Our tissue tapes (e.g. 41430 / 41433 / 41435) combine a non-woven carrier with pure polyacrylate adhesive and a yellow silicone paper liner. They offer:

Very good adhesion on foams, PE, PP and EPDM
Strong initial tack and good wet-out
Good conformability and easy converting (slitting, die-cutting)
Temperature resistance from –40°C up to 180°C (article-dependent)

They are ideal for laminating flexible materials where you need a balance of stability, thin build and easy processing.

Transfer tapes – “pure adhesive” films for clean lamination

Our transfer tapes (e.g. 45350-50 F-PO-W, 45370-30/50/70 P-Y, 45400-100 F-PO-W) are carrier-free adhesive films on siliconized paper or polyolefin liners.
Key advantages:

Very thin, uniform adhesive layer for precise lamination
Different adhesive weights (30–100 g/m²) and thicknesses (0.03–0.10 mm) to match your design
Excellent adhesion to low surface energy substrates and good resistance to solvents and aging
Temperature resistance up to 200°C for selected grades

They are the preferred choice when you need a clean adhesive interface without adding carrier thickness.

Scrim tapes – reinforced for demanding constructions

Our scrim-reinforced transfer tapes (e.g. 45380-80 F-PO-W, 45390-200, 45440-80 P-Y, 45445-100 P-Y, 45610-90 FR) use PES/PVA mesh or PES fabric as the carrier to stabilise the adhesive layer.
They provide:

High internal strength and dimensional stability during lamination
Reliable adhesion on low-energy surfaces
Temperature resistance typically from –40°C to +90°C, and up to +140°C for selected products
Special flame-retardant versions (45610 series) that are halogen-free and designed for applications where fire performance and safety standards are critical

These products are ideal for large parts, demanding laminates and safety-relevant components.
