EKO-TECH 42419 – Wysokowydajna Dwustronna Taśma PP

EKO-TECH® 42419 — Double-Sided Polypropylene Tape (Brown Paper Liner)

Cost-effective, high-tack double-sided PP film tape with synthetic rubber (hotmelt) adhesive. The brown paper liner makes 42419 the price-competitive twin of our 42414.

Key Highlights (Why choose 42419?)

  • More competitive price point thanks to the brown paper liner (same adhesive & film construction as 42414).

  • Strong initial tack from hotmelt rubber adhesive for fast, reliable bonds.

  • Clean PP film carrier (transparent) for discreet bonds under graphics & trims.

  • Versatile converting: slit to custom widths, kiss-cut/die-cut parts, finger-lift liners.

  • Reliable specs: typical total thickness 0.09 mm, adhesion >14 N/25 mm, temperature range −30 °C to +60 °C (short-term +80 °C).

Typical Applications

  • Mounting nameplates, badges, plastic profiles, and lightweight trims

  • Fixing POS/POP materials, displays, posters, and signage

  • General assembly in appliances, electronics accessories, and shopfitting

  • Splicing and core-starting for papers/films where high initial tack is desired

  • Foam/felt pad lamination for vibration-dampening or gap-filling (via converting)

For best results, apply on clean, dry surfaces at ≥ +15 °C (min. +10 °C).

Benefits in Detail

  • Fast handling & throughput – hotmelt rubber system gives instant grab to speed assembly.

  • Neat, invisible bond line – clear PP film keeps graphics and edges sharp.

  • Budget-friendly alternative – brown paper liner brings down unit cost without changing the tape performance envelope.

  • Process-friendly – works well with manual application and dispensers; excellent for converting into custom shapes.

  • Flexible formats – rolls, spools, finger-lift, and kiss-cut pads tailored to your line.

42419 vs. 42414 (At a Glance)

  • Adhesive & film: Same construction and performance envelope

  • Key difference: 42419 uses a brown paper linermore price-competitive

  • When to pick 42419: You want the 42414 performance profile at a sharper price

Handling & Surface Prep

  • Clean surfaces (IPA/water 50:50 recommended), dry thoroughly.

  • Apply pressure across the bond line to maximize wet-out.

  • Allow dwell time for bond strength build-up, especially on textured or low-energy surfaces.

  • Observe storage guidance to maintain liner release and adhesive flow.

FAQ

What testing standards are the values based on?2025-11-10T12:49:23+01:00

AFERA/DIN lab methods. Values are typical and can vary with substrates and conditions; always test in your application.

What widths and lengths can I get?2025-11-10T12:46:55+01:00

Standard: 6–150 mm widths and 50 m length. Special widths/lengths available on request.

Indoor or outdoor use?2025-11-10T12:45:14+01:00

Rubber hotmelt systems are designed primarily for indoor use. Short-term outdoor use may be possible if protected; always validate in end-use conditions.

Is 42419 suitable for die-cutting?2025-11-10T12:43:46+01:00

Yes—PP carrier and paper liner make it ideal for kiss-cut and full die-cut parts.
