Lamination Process – Single-Sided, Double-Sided, and Beyond
At EKO-TECH, Lamination is a core converting capability that enables us to create high-performance adhesive materials tailored precisely to customer needs. Whether you require adhesive on one or both sides, or the fusion of multiple material layers, our advanced lamination process ensures consistent quality and flexibility.
What We Offer
Our lamination machines are designed for both hot and cold lamination processes, using pre-coated adhesive materials on release liners (such as transfer tapes, double-sided tapes, etc.). We do not use liquid adhesives or apply adhesives via spraying, coating, or hot-melt extrusion.
Benefits of Lamination
Customization & Innovation
Through lamination, we create tailored composite structures by combining different tapes, foams, or films—even from different manufacturers. This allows us to meet application-specific thicknesses, properties, and requirements that off-the-shelf products cannot.
Adhesive Functionalization
Non-adhesive substrates (like foams, films, or textiles) can be transformed into adhesive materials by laminating pre-coated tapes onto their surfaces. This technique is ideal for sealing, insulating, spacing, or bonding applications across industries.
Flexible Adhesive Solutions
Wide Range of Adhesive Tapes for Lamination
We select the adhesive layer based on your technical and application-specific requirements. Our lamination process supports virtually all types of adhesive tapes, including:
We work with top global manufacturers such as tesa®, 3M™, ATP, and others to provide high-quality, performance-driven bonding solutions for nearly any surface or substrate.
Lamination Technology
Hot and Cold Lamination Using Pre-Coated Adhesive Materials
All of our lamination processes are based on pre-coated adhesive tapes or films mounted on release liners. Depending on the material type, lamination is carried out:
- Cold, with pressure rollers
- Hot, using heat-activated lamination rollers (if needed for better bonding or liner removal)
We do not apply liquid, solvent-based, water-based, or hot-melt adhesives during the lamination process. Instead, we convert and bond using ready-to-laminate materials, ensuring clean, repeatable, and industrial-grade results.
Multilayer constructions (duplex, triplex, etc.) can be realized using multiple webs of adhesive and non-adhesive materials.
Application Areas
Our laminated products are used in a wide range of industries:
Further Processing Options
Once laminated, the materials can be:
This enables ready-to-use adhesive solutions tailored to your process and end use.
Coating as a Service
In addition to lamination, we also offer coating services as part of our converting capabilities. If you require pre-adhesive coating, protective films, or backing films laminated onto your materials — please contact us to discuss your project in detail.
From Vision to Functionality
Whether you provide the material or we supply it, we turn it into a functional, adhesive-ready solution. Our lamination is designed for industrial performance, process safety, and material compatibility — with a focus on customization.
