3M™ Thinsulate™ Acoustic Insulation AU2020-6 is a lightweight, high-performance non-woven acoustic mat designed for demanding automotive applications. Thanks to its unique microfibre structure, this insulation absorbs sound energy efficiently while being easy to handle, die-cut, and integrate into complex geometries.

AU2020-6 combines:

35% polyester staple fibers (for structure and strength)
65% ultra-fine polypropylene fibers (for acoustic absorption)
A white polyolefin scrim for surface durability and better bonding
