3M™ Thinsulate™ Acoustic Insulation AU1704-6

3M™ Thinsulate™ Acoustic Insulation AU1704-6 is a high-performance acoustic non-woven insulation solution made of ultrafine polypropylene and polyester fibers. It is compressible, lightweight, non-linting, and delivers exceptional sound absorption in demanding automotive and industrial environments. A white polyolefin scrim on one side enhances surface durability, and both sides are embossed for better attachment and abrasion resistance.

With a material thickness of 12 mm and surface weight of 210 g/m², AU1704-6 offers greater acoustic control while maintaining processability for custom converting. Ideal for trimming, laminating, or die-cutting.
